The Sextiskel is a remarkable energetic form rooted in Gothic architecture. Its origins lie in the opus Francigenum style that emerged in northern France in the 11th century. One splendid example of this design can be found in the neo-Gothic church of La Clarté, in Perros Guirec, Brittany, France.
Intriguingly, the Sextiskel boasts six openings or partitions, a number deeply entwined with solar symbolism across various traditions. The power of this design is most pronounced when the sun bathes the apse in its radiant light, raising the energy of the church.
Six, synonymous with the hexagon, holds profound significance for many cultures. The great Greek Iatromantis, philosopher Pythagoras, regarded it as the Symbol of Creation. The Sextiskel comes in two distinctive versions:
Bee Sextiskel: This version uses a secret alchemical process to incorporate in the matter the sound produced by the bees inside a healthy hive. Bees, inherently linked to the sun, create honeycombs with numerous hexagonal shapes, known for their dynamic healing properties.
