October 18 - 25, 2025

Join us today!

Immerse yourself in sacred Mayan wisdom

Embark on a transformative journey through the sacred lands of Guatemala, where ancient Mayan traditions and breathtaking landscapes come together to guide you through a profound physical, emotional, and spiritual rebirth.

Your adventure begins with a night in Guatemala City, followed by a visit to the enchanting colonial city of Antigua. Here, you’ll explore the energetic sites of Convento de las Capuchinas, La Compañía de Jesús Convent, and a traditional colonial house. From there, we travel to the serene Lake Atitlán, stopping along the way to visit the ancient Mayan site of Iximché.

At Lake Atitlán, a place of high spiritual vibrations, you’ll dive deep into the Mayan cosmovision. Learn about your personal Nahual—your Mayan spirit guide and protector. Through sacred ceremonies, you’ll recover lost soul parts, reconnect with your original energetic identity, and experience the healing power of a custom-made birth mandala.

The journey includes a powerful Mayan fire ceremony led by an Ajq’ij (Mayan shaman), who will call upon the 260 energies of the Mayan calendar. This ceremony is a chance to release old patterns, stagnant energy, and negative emotions into the fire, transforming them into high-vibrational energy. This deeply liberating and healing experience offers a spiritual renewal.

For physical renewal, you’ll experience a Temazcal, a traditional Mayan sauna guided by the Ajq’ij, Estellita. Entering the womb of Mother Earth, you’ll cleanse your body and aura with heat, herbs, and chanting. Afterward, cool off in a bio-pool and relax in a jacuzzi, with the option to book a massage for deeper integration.

During the birth mandala experience, recover lost soul parts, heal birth or childhood traumas. It is an amazing experience, that you can repeat, because the birth mandala is yours to keep and treasure.

Afterwards, enjoy a sacred cacao ceremony and sound healing session, a beautiful time for integration and connection. The cacao, revered by the Mayans as a heart-opening medicine, will help you ground and center and the sound healing vibrations will harmonize your energy and deepen your sense of renewal.

Step into the sacred, reclaim your essence, and emerge renewed.

Throughout the journey, Dominique, Karen, and Rocio, and other local Mayan guides, will support you every step of the way. This is more than a tour—it’s a personal journey to recover parts of yourself that may have been lost through life’s challenges. Offer yourself the gift of renewal and rebirth. In the mystical beauty of Guatemala, surrounded by sacred places, delicious local foods, uplifting ceremonies, and heart-opening experiences, you’ll reconnect with your true essence and emerge transformed.

Personal protector

Your Nahual

For the Mayan culture, the figure of the Nahual (also known as "nawal" or "nagual”), is a spiritual being that protects us in this world.

Nahuals can be seen as a kind of mystical protector or guide, and their attributes are said to be reflected in the individual's personality and life path

Guatemalan Cuisine

Guatemalan food is a vibrant blend of Mayan and Spanish influences, featuring dishes like the spiced stew pepian and comforting banana-leaf-wrapped tamales. Freshly made corn tortillas and tropical fruits like pineapple, mango, and papaya add to the rich, natural flavors. Every bite is a taste of tradition and culture!

Mayan Site

Q'um'arkaj

This Mayan site is still used by Mayan for ceremonies. There is a very special cave carved by the Mayans centuries ago. Here, we will journey deep into the great Mother's womb to release our fears.

Then we will climb to the top of a pyramid and enjoy the rarified air of the gods, prana and ether energy. It will be a very powerful experience!

Temazcal

A temazcal is a traditional Mayan sweat lodge, often referred to as a "steam bath" or "sacred sauna," used for physical, emotional, and spiritual cleansing. The word temazcal comes from the Nahuatl language, meaning "house of heat." This ancient ritual involves entering a small, dome-shaped structure that represents the womb of Mother Earth. Inside, volcanic stones are heated and infused with water and medicinal herbs, creating a purifying steam. In Guatemala, temazcales are deeply rooted in Mayan culture and are often guided by a shaman who incorporates chanting, drumming, and prayers to enhance the spiritual experience. Participants are encouraged to release negative energy, emotions, and toxins, making it a powerful ritual for renewal and transformation.

The Birth Mandala

Birth Mandalas are an extraordinary talisman and tool for personal healing. It connects you with the heavens, the exact pattern of the stars, the planets, the sun, and the moon at the moment of your first breath. It represents your original birth energy, your divine essence and is the energetic reference for your life here on earth.

What happens inside your birth mandala

When you meditate in your Birth Mandala for the first time, many things begin to happen. Birth and childhood traumas can surface to be released as you sit inside. The experience will be unique to you. Then you will begin to feel energy moving in your body, balancing and aligning your energetic system. After this initial energetic re-adjustment to the effects of your Birth Mandala, other wonderful things begin.

You will begin to recover lost pieces of yourself. Some people call them soul parts, others call it energy. But no matter the name, you begin to recover pieces of you that have been lost to places, people, or events. As they return, you will feel stronger, and more "yourself".

The energetic channels of the body will also begin to open. You will be able to establish a strong connection to the earth, then the energy will begin moving up your central channel (visualize this as a hollow tube in the center of your body) This central channel opens and energy from the earth and the cosmos begins to circulate up and down freely. As it does, your chakras will begin to open, align, and balance. Your hand and feet chakras will open and the energy will begin to move up your arms and leg meridians, this is felt as a freshness. There will be a strong and deeper connection to your own personal spirituality. There can also be an opening in the four directions.

Spending time in your Birth Mandala will also help your aura to strengthen, expand, and smooth out. Your chakra system will experience improvements as each chakra opens and finds balance. Spending time daily is also important because of the influence that modern technology has on the energy system. Your energy system is under constant attack from EMFs, satellite signals, cell towers, etc. Energy Healers are discovering that these influences are stronger and more prevalent than in the past and wreak havoc on the energy systems of people. One way you can protect the integrity of your energy system and help your body stay healthy is by spending time each day in your Birth Mandala. It's effects of expanding your aura and aligning your chakras are crucial for personal self-care and health.

Sacred Cacao

Mayan cacao ceremonies are heart-opening rituals that use sacred cacao to foster connection, healing, and inner clarity. Revered by the Mayans as a gift from the gods, cacao is used to awaken the spirit, open the heart, and create a space for reflection and transformation.

Testimonials

Now that we are safely back home in Portugal, we’d like to say merci beaucoup to Karen, Dominique, and Nicolas for hosting a wonderful and magical Cathars Cathars Tour. It was an experience to remember for a lifetime. And thank you to all you fellow curious travelers who were respectful and kind to us and others throughout the week in France. Gail and I enjoyed your company and look forward to seeing you on future tours!!"

MILLS AND GAIL - Cathar Castle Tour 2024

“I thoroughly enjoyed the way that Karen and Dominique led the Equinox Initiation Tour in Brittany. As promised, it was not a hurried typical packing, unpacking and constantly-changing locations type of journey.

We were housed on the rural property that the leaders own. Our quarters were clean and comfortable. I could have stayed for weeks in my en-suite bedroom with a view of the large yard and a platform where birds landed every morning.

A well-appointed and modern kitchen was available for us to make breakfast and kind Dominique provided us with fresh croissants from the local bakery each morning.

The daily schedule consisted of visiting 2 or 3 special sacred sites in the morning, a leisurely lunch at nearby restaurants with French ambiance, and then more sites in the afternoon. When we returned to our home away from home, there was time to rest before we were served a delicious home-cooked meal and wonderful organic wines and cheeses. We shared stories and laughter until it was time to head off for a night of sleep.

I really appreciated the relaxed and flexible schedule that we kept to and the peaceful, quiet, and spirit-filled places we visited.

I was attracted to the journey for a much-needed reconnection to the spiritual solace I find in sacred natural spaces. From spending ample time with energetic standing stones, ancient trees, moss-covered forest floors, and views of tidal inlets, I got just what I came for.

Many thanks to this knowledgeable, generous, and humorous couple for my wonderful first introduction to Celtic Brittany!"

“Thank you, Karen, Dominique, and Nicolas, for this wonderful Cathar Castles Tour. For me, the experience was a marvelous discovery of a new way to see, not just to see, but to feel the world and the energies surrounding us. Thank you all for making this possible, and from now on, I’m in!!!

JULIAN URQUIZA - Cathar Castles Tour 2024

“It was a wonderful experience visiting Brittany with Dominique and Karen. They took us to many energized places that I never would have found on my own! We visited special trees, including a 1,500 year old oak tree; holy wells; the rock alignments at Carnac; several portal dolmens; many awesome menhirs; and a few special churches. But we did more than just see these places; we learned to experience the energies there and identify the devas of the places.

We had a complete tour of charming Brittany with its vast coastline and villages full of flowers. We were treated to the very best of French cuisine and wine. Dominque and Karen ensured that we stayed healthy and cared for with extra vitamins and lots of fun.

Some nights, we sat around the farmhouse table and had home-cooked meals, which were delicious, completely organic, and served with organic wines and cognac. Then, we had great discussions and lessons. I highly recommend this trip! ”

KRISTINA M. WOOD - Equinox Initiation Tour of Brittany 2024

“When I stood in the center of the Crucuno Solsticial Quadrilateral (there, I said it!), I felt such a sense of balance and integration and belonging and rightness that I can’t adequately convey it with words. My profound thanks to Karen and Dominique for the unique experiences you afforded me. I have all those wonderful and unique experiences downloaded and cataloged within me to call upon (recall) when I wish to re-experience any of the myriad pristine energy frequencies I interacted with.

This truly was a magical mystery tour. And, as a bonus, I have learned a lot about working internally with my main chakras (especially the crown!) and have incorporated that knowledge into my internal energy work. And the food was good too!  Thanks for everything. With love…”
