One of the favorite old trees that we visit on the tour is a 1500 year old oak tree, called Tronjoli. In medieval times, a monk lived inside it with his library!

Sacred places, such as standing stones and dolmen attract nature spirits called devas or shining ones by the Hindus.
As you begin to clean your energy and raise your vibration on the tour, many people begin to see them.

Healing holy wells
Many times, the springs found near sacred sites are healing. Some have been sources of healing pilgrimage for 1000s of years. One such place is behind the little chapel of St Gildas.
Here we are waiting to feel the undines, the water spirits found in water places that are still "alive".
The tallest menhirs
Menhir Madness!
No trip to Brittany is complete without visiting the amazing menhirs in Finistère.
These giant stones are among the tallest in Europe! These beautiful one, called Sud de Pontusval is 7.2 meters or 23 and 1/2 feet tall. It has a healing crystalline green aura and is wonderful to spend some time with.

Learn how to work with your body (your antenna) to feel the earth energies of sacred waters and vortexes of energy. There are many different qualities of subterranean waters that our ancestors worked with when erecting their megaliths. As you gain experience, you will be able to discover their secrets youself!

Tour itinerary
We’ll start each day with a delicious self-prepared breakfast featuring organic yogurts, creamy local butter, homemade jams, honey, farm-fresh eggs, fresh fruit, croissants, muesli, and pain au chocolat. After breakfast, we’ll pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of Brittany’s many beautiful and sacred sites.
Each day, we’ll explore four to six remarkable locations, blending the magic of ancient menhirs and dolmens, sacred springs, centuries-old trees, and charming Breton chapels. Our picnic lunches are a chance to relax and soak in the unique energy of these special places.
Later in the day, we’ll stop at an organic market to pick up fresh ingredients for our communal dinner. Everyone is invited to join in the fun of preparing, cooking, and sharing a simple country meal together—think fresh seafood, local vegetables, and regional specialties like mussels and fries. Of course, local ciders and French wines will be on hand to complete the experience!
The tour begins on September 15th with a welcome dinner and concludes on the 23rd with a farewell breakfast. Join us for a week of discovery, connection, and the true flavors of Brittany.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the way that Karen and Dominique led the Equinox Initiation Tour in Brittany. As promised, it was not a hurried typical packing, unpacking and constantly-changing locations type of journey.
We were housed on the rural property that the leaders own. Our quarters were clean and comfortable. I could have stayed for weeks in my en-suite bedroom with a view of the large yard and a platform where birds landed every morning.
A well-appointed and modern kitchen was available for us to make breakfast and kind Dominique provided us with fresh croissants from the local bakery each morning.
The daily schedule consisted of visiting 2 or 3 special sacred sites in the morning, a leisurely lunch at nearby restaurants with French ambiance, and then more sites in the afternoon. When we returned to our home away from home, there was time to rest before we were served a delicious home-cooked meal and wonderful organic wines and cheeses. We shared stories and laughter until it was time to head off for a night of sleep.
I really appreciated the relaxed and flexible schedule that we kept to and the peaceful, quiet, and spirit-filled places we visited.
